Noise like doors-power-locks activating when driving

I changed my car's battery yesterday and since then when I drive it the car starts making clicking sounds similar to those of the power locks when they are closed and you try to close them again. It's completely random, Sometimes it sounds like in the back doors, sometimes in the front. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: The noise comes from the speakers in the 5 doors... and it only happens when I use the CD player. Haven't happened before changing the battery.

NEW UPDATE: A few minutes ago I discovered that if I set the TREBLE below 7 (being 9 the max) none of the speakers makes the noise. As soon as I reach 8 it starts making popping sounds. Any ideas? Thanks.

One or more of your speakers might be blown. You might consider checking each one to rule it out then check your fuse box for blown fuses as well as the connections to your battery.

mrboosh: thanks for your help... i don't think the speakears are blown because when treble is under 7 they sound perfect even with a high volume level, and no matter the mid or the bass levels. I'll check them anyway as well as the fuses and wiring. I'll let you know. Thanks-you again

SOURCE: My car is making a loud noise from the front end

Hi Becky Your mechanic should be able to find your problem. They will lift your car so your front wheels swing free and shake your front wheels around. The bad part can be found this way. Theres a lot of things this could be. But yes it would be a joint or bearing. Hope this helps you.

Flashing interior lights, battery wont keep a charge, power locks activating while driving?

You have a loose or shorted wire someplace, all that you can do is start looking for it. It could be inside a door, or the harness that feeds the door.
