SOURCE: heater core replacement of 1995
If your truck has air conditioning you drain the radiator and disconnect the heater hoses on the right of the engine at the firewall.get in the cab on the passenger side and remove the grove box for better access than remove the seven screws that holds the cover on remove the vacuum source but leave the vacuum harness attached to the cover and remove the cover than remove the heater core from its chanber. Now all you have to do is put every thing back in place.

SOURCE: Heater core 1990 Ford F-150
I believe this is the easiest heater core ever invented. If it is like the 1986 model. I believe it is. You take out the glove box door. The heater core is right there under a cover in the duct work.

Remove the glove box. Disconnect the heater core from the heater hoses. Remove the cover behind the glove box held on by 8mm screws. Disconnect the temperature cable. Remove heater core. Good luck.
