SOURCE: Torque and sequence to Intake Manifold for 3.3L Nissan Xterra 2000

Hi El Faraon,
I believe that you're dealing with 12 mm bolts and nuts....THESE ARE NOT THE SPECS FOR YOUR ENGINE, but I believe that if you use them you'll be close....Tighten in three stages up to 22nm....choose the bolts from the centre of the manifold and circle outwards until you reach the last one.....It may be a good idea to draw an overhead or plan view of the unit, marking out the bolt positions.....Start at the centre and mark the sequence and follow that....What is important is starting at the centre, so that nothing becomes warped....

Hope this helps,

Regards, Johngee10

The finally question
What is your question? Did the repair shop

SOURCE: When I tune up my 04 Nissan Quest do I need a Intake Manifold Gasket?

If you have to remove the top half or plenum of the intake manifold, it is always recommended to replace the gaskets. I have squeaked by without doing it if the gaskets are in good condition.

Does anyone know how to pick up a 95 GC limited 5.2l engine with no lift points? Trying to remove engine and it has no engine hooks to hook a cherry picker up to. Please help

Go buy a set of engine lift plates, for example - the Goodmark engine lift brackets sold at Summit Racing, you can mount these to almost any good mounting bolt on the engine, such as an intake manifold bolt (as long as your intake manifold is not plastic). If your intake manifold is plastic, you could probably use one of the exhaust manifold bolts, or front bracket mount for an accessory.

1995 nissan pick up 4X4 v6 died. will turn over, pumping fuel. has spark. won't start. was accidentally over filled with oil?

Check the spark plugs for oil contamination. The PCV valve will pick up oil and send it into the intake manifold then fouling the plugs

I have a 95 nissan sentra and it keeps idling rough when i stop and stalling completely. I replaced all the basic tune up parts. (i.e. rotor, distributor cap, spark plugs, vacuum hose, fuel filter, spark...

Check vacuum leaks , by spraying carburator cleaner around intake manifold gasket and vacuum hoses connections . See if engine picks up the idle speed while you doing it , and if it does , locate leak and fix it. Most common , intake manifold gasket brakes.

Knock / Cam Sensor

The Knock Sensor is Located under the Intake Manifold.. It can be seen vias a flash light from the Driverside Looking down into the open area below the intake manifold approx 8in. Inside. If you are going to Remove/Replace the Knock Sensor You will have to Remove the Intake Manifold. Whick is not as hard as it may look. You will also have to replace the Gasket on the intake it self.
