1999 chev venture van back hatch door will not unlock? all other door locks work fine? they are all power.when you put key in back you can hear it trying to do something but wont open. thanks

you have to get it to open in order to fix it. So unlock it manualy by climbing in and pulling up on the fob that sticks out... you may need to use a screwdriver to grip it...
Once open , take the panel off and inspect the locking mechanisms cotrole rods. They are held on by plastic clips and bind on occassion.
