SOURCE: third row seats
A little plastic bumper, located on a metal tab on the inside of the bottom seat cushions breaks off. It is supposed to hit the seat back release and allow the back to fold down when you push the bottom cusion in all the way. I finally just bent the metal tab up so it would hit the release and that fixed it. (Look for the broken palstic pieces under the seat cusion area as an indication) The dealer replaced the plastic part several times... a waste of time.

There is a small black plastic clip that proably broke off of the paret of the seat that you sit on. You can pull the release manually from the back of the cargo area. To get access you will have to remove the tire jack cover. The slide the "bottom" part of the seat partiallly in. Then there is a release device on each seat track. You have to pull each release at the same time, then push seat "back" forward slightly.
I have broker several of these, there are inexpensive to replace but break often.
