Hi !!PLEASE HELP..Just had kia sedona 2003 2.9d - fault codes from RAC IMV p1119-p1120 "intermitten" and in injectors 0201-4 "permanent" and ECU relay -1640 permanent low level "intermittent" can also only...

Yes i have worked on these vehicles but never come across this before ,check the glow plugs and the relay to check their all working which i suspect that either the relay/timer is faulty or all 4 glow plugs are gone ,failing which you may need to return the vehicle to the dealer to have the computer re-flashed but i suspect a faulty timer relay or on a 2003 vehicle all four glow plugs are burnt out ,not difficult to change though as their on the top of the engine

Kia sedona 2.9 diesel auto some times will not start switch off ignition and back on and it will start seems like no fuel drives ok when started

it sound like there is a problem with the glow plugs.

one or more may be faulty.

if any are faulty, i would recommend changing the entire set.

they are not particularly difficult to change, but unless you are a confident mechanic, i would recommend getting someone competent to do it, as the wires for the glow plugs carry a lot of power for the glow plugs, and do need to be fitted properly

Sedona glowplug light flashing

HI. this warning has been initiated due to a malfunction that has been detected in one or more of the glow plugs in the engine compartment.

Normally, when this light illuminates, its because of a failed glow plug and you will need to replace the failed plug in order for the light to shut off. this replacement can be done at your local mechanic shop or dealership as well.

It could be as simple as a worn or broken wire clips as well but, its bets to take it in fo ra full inspection so that the actual issue can be repaired correctly.

Please rate and god bless:)

Glow plug flashing, loud noise in engine

I just had a flashing glow plug light fixed, it was chafing of the wiring loom behind the air box in the engine compartment. Kia were very aware of this problem.
