SOURCE: how to remove the tail lights from a 2003 murano

Here's the step by step procedure from the beginning.

  1. Carefully remove the black one inch wide plastic molding strip that runs along the interior side of the tail light. This can be pried off carefully without breaking the plastic clips that hold it in place.
  2. Using a 10mm socket, remove the two bolts that you see which secure the tail light housing.
  3. The tail light housing is also held in place with three or four plastic clips which can be broken rather easily if you don't do this next step carefully. Begin prying the plastic tail light using a plastic putty knife or screwdriver. The top clip comes out pretty easily and so does the bottom one.
  4. On a cold winter day, the middle clip is the one that can break rather easily so gently rock the tail light or wait for warm weather when the plastic isn't brittle.
  5. Once the tail light "bucket" is removed it's a simple matter to replace the bulbs.

SOURCE: remove windshield washer reservoir

Take off the wheel well shroud. Firdt remove the front right wheel, it will be easier. Then remove the two screws holding in the tank. Remove the two electrical connectons and small rubber hose. Next (or first) grab the filler tube and twist while pulling it from the tank as it is held in by a rubber gromet. Then pull the tank forward and let it drop down. Nothing else is holding it in except the two screws. Removing the filler tube is a must!

SOURCE: How to Remove Car Radio from Nissan Murano

If you disconnect one of the battery cables for about 30 sec and reconnect it, that will reset the CD player. Then you can put in the key and see if can eject the offending CD. My bet is that it won't. I own a 2006 with a failing CD (getting it replaced on warranty next week). The CD player in these cars is a real stinker. Nissan should be ashamed.

Front windshield washer is not pumping to spray windows need to replace unsure how to get to it Sante Fe 2004

I presume you've check the fluid level in the washer resevior? This particular problem is common. The inlet opening to the pump is clogged by slime. We usually 'unclog' the obstruction using compressed air. The resevior (tank) needs to be removed and flushed/cleaned out. It can be accessed under the RH wheel well liner. There are 2 10mm bolts fastening the tank to the vehicle. remove those bolts. Then disconnect the hoses (one for front, the other for rear wiper/wash). Disconnect the electrical connector to the pump. You can now remove the resevior (tank) from the vehicle and flush/clean it.

I need to know how to replace the spark plugs of my murano 2004? the 3 at the front are not the problem, the ones i want to know how to do it are the ones on the back,. thanks

you need to remove the upper half of the intake plenum to acces the plugs.not as bad as it looks.only tricky part is the support bracket bolts(12mm) on rear of plenum.if you remove the lower windshield cowling and metal cowl panel at base of windshield it makes it much easier.may seem intimidating but its actually very straight forward and only takes about an hour start to finish.any further questions let me know.good luck!

05 neon windshield washer tank is full but not spraying fluid. I assume the pump is shot. Any advice on replacing the motor/pump. I would like to do this myself if not to involved.

its a simple job but first buy the pump and you will see where the bolts/screws go then you will be able to remove same on car and fit new.before buying though, try removing a hose from the pump and get someone to operate the switch, might just be s..t in the pipe.

WHERE DO i FILL WIPER FLUID IN REAR FOR 2006 NISSAN MURANO?

The fluid for both windows comes from the front resivoir. The pump there is suited to pump either to the front or to the rear based upon your operation of the switch & if the rear isn't working, the line will need to be removed near the pump & checked for obstructions.

These can be cleaned with a vacuum tester, the kind that lets you pump the unit & draw a vacuum, connected to the hose, it will draw any debris back out of the tube. You probably don't want to try & force fluid through the hose as it won't fit through the washer nozzle.

good luck
