ok, so what do you need to know

Passenger side of engine. It is belt driven.and slightly below alternator. It will have a bolt on pully with 3-4 bolts

i have a 1996 chevy caprice LT1 that wont start due to hurricane sandy the water line of the car was half of the bottom pully which i think the starter got wet when i returned back to the car i turned the key it didnt turn over but i had power is there any solutions please help

You need to check for power at the purple wire going to the solonoid while key is in the start position, if no juice then check starter relay-under hood- fuse ,and ignition switch

blown ecm fuse or bad fuel pump

Sounds like your security is staying on.Try locking the car with the remote keys then unlocking If that doesnt work lock car again and unlock it with key in passenger side door..These should solve your problems if not tell me what you got after doing those things..

Yes u need to take it t the dealer, they have the san tool needed to fix this code.

check the catalytic converter i had the same problem with my suburban and mine was a clogged converter.

the computor sees one of the engine sensors out of range if you take the car to advanced auto parts or simmular place they can pull the codes then write back with codes and we can help you figure the problem out
