I have a 2011 Kia Sorento with 94k miles. Recently my engine warning light came on. It is driving great, but I went to Kia to have it checked. Said my intake manafold needs to be replaced.

If the check engine light came on I assume it was the check engine light, then you may feel no symptom for the code but never the less you have a failed part of other electrical issue, so if the manifold needs to be replaced to correct the check engine light and its fault code then that is what needs to be done. Remember if the CEL is on you will fail any emission inspection that is required.

Engine management light is on s o done self test on Ford focus 2000 it's come back with R22 and E001 fault code Amy ideas what it is at all

Hi there , good evening to you

Ok the cluster self test is no good these are internal cluster codes and are not reliable or relavent

You need to have a diagnostic fault code check done on the PCM
Nearly all garages have the equipment to do this

The most common faults we see are intake manifold runner control issues and HEGO (lambda sensor faults )
If the vehicle is still running ok eg no misfire then it will probably be one of the above
Again this is fault code dependent as the fault code check is an imperative part of correctly diagnosing this issue

first off, it down work like say any 1980 jeeps
the cluster is like your computer monitor
the cluster, is a digital , display that uses serial communications
data, from the PCM to present to you, all data (gauges)
this is all done over a 2 wire, transmission line.
called CCD.
via pins 1 and 2.

the PCM monitors all sensors, not the cluster like days of old.
then The PCM sends data to the cluster brain
the cluster then shows you the data.
that is how it works, 93 to now.

Thermostat gauge not working

You will want to check the wire connections for the heat sensor(s). It is possible that the connection(s) were damaged or loosened when the work under the hood was being done. you may also have to check the sensor(s) it self to insure that it has not failed.

1999 expedition all fuses good gauges not working

I presume you are talking about your instrument panel not operating correctly.
Pull out your instrument panel and check the connections on the rear.
Assuming that you have power to the panel and that the wiring is fine, then I would point to the panel itself being at fault and requiring replacement. It is unusual for all gauges to fail simultaneously unless the instrument cluster circuit board is faulty.

Dash lights dont work on my 97 blazer

All lights, or just your illumination lights? Illumination: bulbs need replacing. All lights; SERIOUS problem. There is a dash panel fuse on car. check that. Has anyone done any work recently under dash( like installing a radio)? May be they accidentally pulled a connector loose behind dash. Need to pull your instrument cluster to check that. Usually two big connectors with lots of wires going to back of instrument cluster. If no power at all with key on: check under hood at power distribution center for a main big fuse out.
