The 10A TURN-B/U fuse in the instrument panel fuse block feeds the turn/hazard flasher and the back-up lamps. There could be a short in the flasher, the turn signal/multifunction switch, or the lamps/sockets. There also could be a short in the back-up lamp circuit

SOURCE: No rear brake light / turn signals on 2001 Chevy Cavalier

The problem is the turn signal/headlight/hazard switch assembly on the steering column which the brake light wiring runs through. The part is easy to change and cost about $50 at most parts stores

I have a 2002 Chev Cavalier that had the same exact problem. I replaced the bulb harness (purchased from a chevy dealership for around $5) which was fairly easy to do. I have had zero problems with it since.

How do you install a turn signal relay on a cavalier?

If you have checked your fuses and they are good, then it depends on which turn signal it is. If it is the rear take the panel off over the lights access and remove bulb from inside trunk. If it is the front the access is the same as your headlight. Just be careful not to break any tabs when replacing cover.

Turning signals dont work but my four ways do

Could be a fuse, or the flasher, or the turn signal switch.
Someone would need to check for power at each component.
There should be a flasher for the hazard lights and another one for the turn signals.

My hyundai elantra 2003 model, hazard signal not functioning but turn signal is function.

You have two separate fuses. Fuse #1 provides power to turn signals. Fuse #4 provides power to the hazard lamp circuit.

My 99 cavalier keeps blowing turn signal fuse

Check all turn signal bulbs, front and back, you probably have a blown bulb that is shorting the circuit. If all lights are ok, try removing them and installing one by one while circuit is energized, tif the fuse is blown on the first bulb try another location, his way you double check that the bulbs are not at fault. if it blows the fuse again, check your turn signal switch, it may be defective.

Good Luck!! Don't forget to rate this post!!

Your going to need to remove the steering wheel and the steering column cover, then you can access the screws holding the "multi function switch",which is the new name for the turn signal switch ,since it does more now.
