Question about 1996 Buick Park Avenue

Open Question

My 1996 buick park avenue alarm/horn blew until the battery died. When jump starting the car, the horn still blows. When trying to cut the car on, it intterupted the horn, but did not cut on possibly because it didn't charge enough. Should i charge the battery separate fom the car or is it a fuse problem?

SOURCE: the windows wont go up

I have an '03 buick regal and I've had window regulator problems, as many other buick owners have. After the third regulator breaking, and close inspection of broken pieces, every regulator failed and broke in the same identical spot. The weak part is on the regulator guide where the end cables connect in a plastic "housing". On my latest replacement regulator, before installing I made a small re-inforcement piece out of aluminum to back up the weak plastic piece. I've had no problems or breakage since. So I also took apart the other 3 window regulators and upgraded them before they broke...again.

Any car with a Factory Anti-Theft System does this whenever battery power is lost. If your owners manual doesn't address this, you will have to contact a GM Dealer to get the system reset. Sorry!

I have a 94 buick park avenue ultra for 3 yrs. and it started stalling out. Going on line, some people replaced most sensors and gas filter. My problem was vacuum lines that were shot and one, going yo the fuel pressure regulator wasn't connected, which was the main problem.

Car alarm keeps going off

Jerome, look for the blast horn see if can can determine which wire is power and disconnect it, should be silent then, you will have to disable the alarm once power is restored, then reconnect and reset if desired.
