There is no Rack and Pinion on a 4x4! But, They should have found this with Alingnment-Could be the Bushings, Tie Rod Ends.

Check your tie rod ends.... and the rack and pinion if that happens to have one.... you have a steering component(s) that is worn and should have been discovered during the alignment.

1997 chevy suburban 4x4 1500, pro 6 in suspension lift, 33x12.5x15 tires/wheels. just replaced tires, and has bad wobble upon braking. also tuns hard to right.

you most likely have a worped roter. what is worping that roter is your right brake is working harder then your left. first try to blead your breaks at the back of the calliper see if that fixes it if not try removing your front callipers and cleaning all the dust and old greas out of them then put on a thin coat of hi temp greas and reinstall them remember to alway blead your breaks after taking them apart.

2003 Suburban 4x4- Humming noise in the left front that gets louder the faster you go. Replaced the wheel bearing and still have the same problem. Any suggestions.

check the tires sometime if the tires are choppy they will make a lot of noise.if they are try swapping a rear tire to the front and see if the sound moves location.

How to properly engage 4x4? when i try to put it in 4x4 it dose not seem to engage properly, when i try to drive it it is hard to stee

If its hard to steer - you probably are in 4x4, especially if turning hard over. (this should be done only if necessary since it putsa a lot of strain on the front 4x4 components. If you want to be sure you are in 4x4 clear an area and put a block in front of one or both of your front tires and try to drive over while not in 4x4. Then try in 4x4. If you can in 4x4 and not in 2wd you know your 4x4 is working. Be ready in both cases to brake in case you do go over the obsticle(s).

both tires? most front diffs are not posi, they are an open diff so when you turn in 4x4 you do not break anything. your 4x4 motor in the front diff could be bad. common on the blazers and jimmys.

What does the 30 amp fuse on the inside of the engine compartment fuse box that says air go to on a 2002 chevrolet suburban LT 4x4 V8 5.3L with autoride?

It's either generically for the a/c or for the a/c high speed relay. When you have it all the way up I think the electric load is higher. Does your a/c work?

Grinding noise front end.

I say it's the CV joints. You have to jack up under the lower A-Arm, to take the spring pressure off of it, to check them.

(Use jack stands, and wheel chocks behind the rear tires. Emergency brake On. Work on a hard level surface. Be SAFE! Trucks can be replaced, YOU cannot!)
