You need to reset or activate it. If you need a tool go to this website for TPMS tools They sell almost all tpms tools that are needed. Some sensor may require you drive them for a few miles. See your owners Manuel.

How to reset low pressure light

On some vehicles, you reset the TPMS warning ligh after you have inflated tyres by pressing a button or switch on the instrument panel. On other vehicles, the TPMS system will automatically reset itself and turn the TPMS warning light off after the vehicle has been driven a few miles after re-inflating the tyres.

Is it ok to drive the car with the 'TPMS' light on?

The TPMS ( tire pressure monitoring system ) light comes on when one or more tires is sensed to have low pressure or one or more sensors is not producing a signal to the computer. Make sure the air pressure is good in all tires. There will be no problems operating the vehicle with this light on.

Im looking for a tyre pressure sensor for my renault laguna 2033 plate but not sure what im looking for or how to fit one thank you

1. The tyre has to be removed to fit the tyre valve/ sensor unit to the wheel. . Tyre dealers will do this for you when you supply the sensor.

2. Any renault dealer parts department can sell you a new sensor.

3. The new sensor has to be programmed to the car's tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

3. Here is a list of information about the Renault Laguna tyre pressure sensors to assist you. The 2nd link below shows a picture of the tyre valve/sensor unit that fits to your wheel.

Peugeot problems

Although the battery life of the Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor (TPMS) is about 7 years they don't always make it that long and replacing it is the most likely solution. The battery can't be changed as its embedded in the sensor, which by the way is inside the tire on the other side of the valve. They are cheap though and any tire shop should have them in stock.

How can you tell if the TPMS sensor is bad?

If you car is 4 years or older you might want to replace all 4 sensors. They only last for 4-6 years. If you need to replace them I found a good source fort TPMS. Just pick your year make and model. Keep is simple. That is what I like. http://www.tpmsdirect.com/ Let me know how it all turns out.

Reset bmw 530 puncture warning light

The TPMS signal is not idetified by your vehicle, when a predetermine amount of air is not present the sensor turns off. When this sensor turns off .Your vehicle TPMS monitor notice it and turns the light on.Some vehicle needs the TPMS monitor to be reset.Others need to be turned on. Still others just needs a set amount of air pressure to turn on and driven in your case the TPMS monitor should detect the sensor and the light will turn off

Tpms light on

Hi
TPMS, tyre pressure monitoring system this keeps a record of the tyre pressue and warns when low, try to inflate the tyres to the correct amount, if that is not the problem then it will be the sensor inside the valve.

I have to be honest these are relitively new on most cars and the technology is not so clever, so far they are proving to be more troublesome than helpful.

If you have a warrenty take the car to the dealer.
hope that helps

TPMS went on after replacing a tire

This code has to be cleared. The simplest way to try first is to disconnect the battery (positive) terminal. Turn the key all the way on,not over, just on for ten seconds. Then reonnect the battery and see if that solves the problem. Otherwise it will have to be cleared by the dealership. Thanks, Dana
