Question about 1991 Honda Accord

1 Answer

Horn does not work.

I have a 1991 Honda Accord SE. Recently I discovered that the Horn does not work in the cold morning when the car is parked in my drive way. But I have no problem if the car is parked in the sun for some time. I tried to replace the fuse but to no avail.

I tried to open the Horn on the steering but found it too hard to pry it open after removing the four screws holding the Horn switch on the steering.

What is the remedy?

It could be the contacts in the steering wheel, or it could be the horn relay.

We had the distribute replaced and now the brake

Sounds like a fuse, in the underhood fuse box, the brake lights & cruise are on the same 20 amp fuse. After replacing the fuse, check the brake lights first. Then see if the horn works, horns usually are the cause for a blown fuse, they short out.

I have a 93 Honda accord se /My break light fuse keep burning out

well with the fuse to what ever that it goes to. it sounds like you have a short someplace in the wiring. if you know what the fuse is for i would check the wires and make sure none of them are bad, or crossed, the fuse is to protect against to much power to that device that it is for and if you have to much going to it than the fuse will blow, and as far as the horn goes i would check your wiring from the horn plug back to the power supply.
