SOURCE: install block heater on 1996 Nissan maxima 3 liter

It is no a job for a do it yourselfer. I recommend taking it to a qualified repair shop. The heater core is mounted under the dash in the evaperator/heater case and it is a very involved job to disassemble and reassemble the correct way. Sorry.

the firing order of that vehicle is 1,3,4,2. The cylinders are in order from 1-4 starting at the front most part of the motor. and traveling back to the transmission. The order is at the distributor cap. it travels in a counter-clockwise direction and the wires go cylinder #1, #3, #4, #, in that order.

hope this helped

Smoke smells when ac on nissan sentra

The speed control of your fan has resisters that are in the venting system to blow air on them to keep them cool. If they overheat and or burn you will lose your low and medium speeds of the fan. If you run the fan at full see if the smell goes away. Your engine could be burning oil on the outside of the engine block, make sure that the weatherstrip where your hood meets the fresh air intake grill is sealing tight.

Remove_dashboard for nissan sentra 2003 heater core

check under the hood first. some cars have the heater core in the engine compartment, attached to the firewall. find the heater hoses and follow them from the block to the firewall. if they go into the firewall, then the heater core is under the dashboard.

My 1995 Nissan Sentra heater fan only worked on high, so I replaced the blower motor resister and now it only works on the first 3 settings. Any idea why?

did you install the right resistor, or the resistor is defective, many problems with aftermarket resistors, try a dealer resistor.
