SOURCE: No Spark

Sorry to tell you this if you dont already know its the ecu, take it out take off the cover and youll see the main capacitor in the center (its a black capacitor with grey markings, there are a couple of others similar located around the board but this one pretty much in the center) of the board has black suit around it and on the board, if your carefull a $3 capacitor (your local **** smith electronics will have one) and solder it in making sure you get the polarities right. unfortunately with these model cars it is a major problem, but if you are not confident with the work email me at matmenzies.adam.com.au and i can referr you to an ecu recon joint for around 85 they will fix your ecu, NOW the problem, there will be a reason why the ecu blew, it will be simple like cracked lead or wire earthing somewhere on chasis, you see the smallest earth spike, even from say turning the car over too much will blow that capacitor. sorry for the bad news and i hope i have been of some assistance.

SOURCE: no spark 350 chevy tbi

You need power on both sides of the coil with key on engine off. With test light on neg side of coil you should get flashing light with engine cranking. No flashing indicates no trigger from ign module. No flashing can also mean the pick-up is faulty. To check pick-up dissconnect from module and use analoge meter set on ohms.Check meter movement during crank. If o/k check rotor for burn through.and change module.

SOURCE: F150 V 8 NO Spark replaced coil / distributor w/

There is no crank shaft sensor for this truck, check all fuses, make sure there is none blown, check for 12 volts at the coil,if there is no voltage at the coil, replace the ignition switch,if there is voltage at the coil, make sure the rotor button,is turning when turning the engine over with the starter. If the rotor button ,is not turning, then the timing chain,in the engine has broke.I do not know how to tell you to check the map sensor, but if it is bad,it will not fire.

Spark plugs getting wet from fuel, compression ok, not starting, timing ok, spark ok, new spark plugs, changed fuel pump in tank,

Check fuel pressure regulator. The actual pressure with a gauge the clean injectors. I'd double check the timing. It also can be the throttle body. Only so many fuel problems the take a good look at the distributor. Small crack or bad wire gives off spark but might not be enough small 4 cylinder for their pecission motors need to be precise check fuses and main busses those are easy and cheap fixes

My Mitsubishi chariot can start but goes off, will not run idle.

Possible causes are:
* if you have a distributor, the spark coil assembly in its base is faulty.
* Timing is off. Check the belt at TDC and ensure the cam markers line up.
* check the coolant temp sensor on the thermostat housing. If the wires are damaged (common for older cars) the ECU cannot work out the spark timing properly.

Your car has both a crank and cam position sensor. First start with your crankshaft position sensor. It is located by the harmonic balancer on the front of the motor.

Ignition spark

You need to replace the TFI module (on outside of distributor) and the distributor pickup coil inside the distributor.

Engine cant start ignition problem on mitsubishi 4G64 engine i want a workshop manual for the same

One of the most common problems with the 4G64 is the coil and/or power-transistor in the distributor, under the rotor.

You usually won't get an ECU error code with this bug.

Assuming you have fuel pressure, and the the timing belt set up is correct, check if you have spark. For parts, look at rockauto.com
