check air filter for dirty , how many miles or kms have your car? , maybe need to replace spark plugs, try to reset the ecu for a momentany malfunction, remove the negative battery terminal few minutes and reconnect,start engine and drive, check if lights goes off , please write me

Toyota is known for sensor problems (Especially tire pressure and traction control).
Suggest that you ask your local AutoZone to run a free ODB check on your car and define the specific sensor messages. That may get you in the right direction... or tell you that the chip that collects the data is smoke..... it can happen with excessive heat or voltage spikes.... Good Luck and keep us informed....

I had the same problem. The dealer said it is an emissions problem with a canister. They wanted almost $1300 to repair it. My vehicle had only 45000 miles so I complained to my regional office for help. They ended up providing the parts for free and I paid the labor which was still $275

The key of your problem is to know what is the check engine light, there is several codes that send the computer to safe mode diminishing engine output, vsc and track off come with the check engine light.
