Hi there ..... Sounds like your CV joints are worn out. you should have them looked at soon. If they need replacing, don't be alarmed when they tell you to replace the whole shaft. This is common as it is sometimes cheaper to replace the whole shaft then the CV joint itself.
Hope this helps you out

It sounds like wheel bearings. Usually, they will make more noise in one direction than the other. They also, sometines, will squeak or squeal when turning. It will not go away. It will only get worse. I'd have them checked as soon as possible. If they go out completely, you will tear up the spindle too. Bearings are a lot cheaper to replace than the whole wheel support assembly.

Front is making noise when I turn

Kim:

Check your wheel bearings and ball joints. Checking the wheel bearings: stand next to the front tire, crouch down, put your hands on the top of the tire, and try to rock the top of the tire by pushing the top of the tire away from you and pulling the top of the tire toward you (rock it hard and fast). do both front tires. Any noise or sideways movement of the tire is bad, (Bearings are worn) and needs to be repaired. Then, stand at the front corner of the car, and push down on the front corner of the car repeatedly (rocking the corner of the car up and down (Rock it up and down Hard) If you hear the popping noise your ball joints need to be replaced. If these tests don't work but you still get the popping noise when you drive, take the car to a mechanic. Popping noises from the front end of a car is dangerous. If anything happens up there, you could lose your steering!

Makes a hard clicking sound in the passenger side tire area when i turn either way. ony when im sitting still and start to turn tho.

this sounds like a bad cv axle, this is what turns the wheels to make the car move if its clicking its going to break soon and leave you stuck out on the road, the axle needs replacing.

1999 Subaru Forster Noise

My first reaction to what you describe is the front CV joints. If worn these will click quite loudly on a slow hard turn such as in a parking lot. The steering vibration is probably wheel balance and although not related, one can make the other worse. First off ckeck your front wheels for bends or curb damage. Check the tyres for uneven wear, bulges, or blisters on the side walls and beneath the tread. Check your front brake rotors for scoring and grooving. And check around the front axles inside the front wheels for thrown grease. Check the boots on the CV joints for splits or other damage and deterioration. If you find all or any of these things, have your mechanic give you a price to replace the faulty components. We usually use rebuilt CV joint assemblies, on an exchange basis.

My explorer makes a clicking/crunching sound in the front pass. side when i turn my wheel to the right.

possibly both front outer CV joints need replacing on drive shafts
usually clicking when turning right, mainly on take off means right CV outer end of drive shaft is shot.
have wheel bearings been inspected for wear?
jack up wheel
grab top and bottom of wheel and flex(shimmy) back and forth to feel if loose.
