1999 Dodge Durango SLT. Neither of the turn signals will work. Emergency flashers work and all fuses are in tact.

If you look under the dash on the left hand side you will see the fuse area, behind this you should see a large ( about 1 - 2 inch) black square block. These usually sell for about 10 - 15 dollars each at the local auto stores. This is a link to a picture of them. Carry this into your local parts store and put in the new one and you should be good to go.

2005 Dodge Durango SLT. Trying to locate turn signal flasher to fix hyper flash after upgrading to LED turn signals.

LED replacement bulbs are nothing but trouble on a vehicle that didn't have them as OEM equipment. In most 'modern' cars, the flashers are controlled by a signal from the Body Control Module or Combined Power Modules via a relay. You need an auto electrician or if the Parts Store sold you the LED bulbs and flasher relay, go back and ask them to sell you the right items to make it flash correctly.

How to fix a flasher on 1999 dodge Durango slt magnum

More info needed. Do the brake lights work? If yes, then there are 2 possibilities: The the flasher on/off switch is bad or the flasher unit is bad. A parts store might let you try a flasher unit to see. They can also tell you where the unit is, if you don't know. In small towns, parts stores are more flexible and cooperative.

The turn signals and flashers don't work,I checked the fuse and it;s still good.2003 Dodge Durango SLT

Hello Idweasel,

I see that you said that you checked all the fuses, but your flashers really does not consist of a complex system, you have a fuse that sends power to the flasher relay that's on the passenger side of the vehicle (side of the dash) and a flasher relay. If the fuse is good try replacing the relay inside the fuse panel. Is this for your Durango or the Impala?

Where is the signal flasher for 99 dodge durango and how to replace it

Under the dash, above the emergency brake pedal on the left side. May need a flash light to see but there is a couple fuses and your flasher there. Just pull the flasher out and push in a new one. The orientation is close to the fuse box. If you have your diver's door opened, on the side of the dash you'll see a small compartment that houses fuses. Looking from this angle you can't see the flasher but it is to the left of this fuse box. Can only access from under the dash.

these vehicles do not have flashers, it is the turn signal switch in the steering column it is called a multi-function switch!
That's where your problem is!!

Brake lights out; bulb, fuse okay

Sounds like you need to replace your brake light switch.  It is located on your brake pedal and you should be able to pick it up for around $20-$30 at your local parts store.
