Question about 1997 Buick LeSabre
I have tried replacing the fuse and my brake lights still do not come on. They were working before I replaced my flasher for my turn signal. I do not know if that is a coincidence or if I accidentally disconnected something? It is not the bulbs. The center brake light that is above in the window works fine.

I dont have a diagram but the brake light switch has to feed the turn signal switch, Either that wire has a bad connection, or the turn signal switch is bad. Jiggle the turn signal lever and see if the brake lights try to work.

I think that your flasher is bad I believe that the 4-ways flasher is a seperate flasher unit it should be in the fuse box and look like the 4-way flasher , to find the flasher turn on the 4-ways and you can feel it or hear it flashing and lok for the flasher for the turn signals

Time to change the flasher unit, it's usually close to the drivers side of vehicle and behind a fuse box access panel and will have something like "12v 23/98W " on it. It's a largish cube shaped componant and may be water damaged !

could be brake light switch but i would be more inclined to think the signal switch is bad, the brake light circuit goes from the pedal to to the turn signal switch then to the taillights
