Question about 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis
My Headlights are 12 years old and fogged. They need replacing but my current chiltons manaul does not provide instructions on replacment of such
Wanna save some money?...go to your nearest parts tore and ask them for a lense cleaning kit....the kit contains some very fine sand paper and a solution...rub the lense of your head light with the solution and paper and clean with a cloth, lights look as bright as new

Tips for a great answer:
Ford just came out (in April 2014) with an extended warranty for headlights that don't work on the 1999-2011 Mercury Grand Marquis. It is a 15 year/250,000 mile warranty and it is called Customer Satisfaction # 14N01. Ford will replace the LCM (Lighting Control Module) for free. Call your Ford dealer to get an appointment (this is only if your headlights don't work) and have your vin # ready. It is called the "Ford Customer Satisfaction Program # 14N01". Or call your local ford Dealer. If they act like they don't know what you are talking about ask to talk to the manager or tell them to call Ford. We just had ours done on August 12, 2014 in AZ.
