How do I find a hidden tracking device on my car

I know that my exhusband has put a tracking device (listening device also) on my car. I have looked in every place possible and can not locate it. I know it has to have a power source. PLEASE give me your thoughts on this manner.

The traking device would be a gps, take it to a mechanic and have it removed or just disconnect the green or black battery terminal. then put it back on.

I have a 2000 ford windstar sc and just changed spark plugs put everthing back togather and noticed a small red hose disconnected one end is connected to firewall where the other end go my air vents...

beckman alan, What you have done is inadvertently disconnected the vaccum line that controls your air box for the climate control in the vehicle. Look at the brake booster next to the brake master cylinder. There is a junction for the vacuum line at that point. If not here, look at your intake manifold for any open vacuum ports, With the engine running listen for any hissing noise and track if down. This is the easiest way to find a vacuum leak. Good luck with this.

Window problems electric powered off track

Unless the motors were replaced at one time, the only bolts holding the window to the regulator are at the slides. any hardware that fell apart should be inside the bottom of the door. Panel removal is pretty simple..only hidden fastener is on the edge...small reflector has one under there.
Haynes makes a good reference for that car for about $20.

How to put the rear window back on track of my 2006 highlander

alot of the screws are hidden on these models .. look for a plastic square or a round that can be popped out near the door handles.. also there is probably screws under the door handle .. make sure you have all bolts and or screws out of the door panel before starting to pop the plastic keepers loose.. Start at the bottom of the door with a flat blade screw driver and pry the panel loose all the way around .. working up the sides. once you have gotten it all loose pickup on the door panel to release it from the window lip which holds the top of the door panel.. then lift it off .. you will then find plastic over the holes in the doors and you will have to remove it to see your problem .. thanks jerry

1998 GMC Jimmy Fuel Pump Failure?

Your on the right track with the fuel pump test, chanses are its the pump thats went out. its best to have two people one to turn key and one to listen out side of car, the best way to hear if it runs. Now don't be fooled just because you hear the pump it can run and still not put out any pressure, thats ware the test comes in.

Drivers power window is off track how hard is it to fix and is there anywhere i can find a diagram before i open it up

As far as I know you can not put the window back on the track.
I had my window lift system break on the passenger side. I had to replace the entire motor and regulator system. It is really simple once you get the door panel off, which is held on by 3 screws - all of which are hidden, one behind the window and door switch.
Anyway, there are 2 plastic clips that connect the window to the lift, they are very fragil and once broken the window will fall down into the door. I was told by 2 different auto shops that you can not get "only the clips", and have to replace the entire system.
Hope this helps.
