Do you mean ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHT, if engine management light is on get the fault codes read and get the faults fixed, the engine management light is there for a purpose, not a Christmas tree light you know.

Maintenance lights can be turned off by. Turning the ignition to on position, press the gas pedal three times slowly within five seconds. The light will flash. When it stops flashing, turn it off. The light should go off after the vehicle is started.

i had the exact same thing happen to me with my first car, a 1966 mercury comet.

i replaced the fuel pump, rebuilt the carburetor (twice), and finally rebuilt the entire engine! still, every time afterwards, the car ran ok, then would cut off again!

it turned to be just a $2 clogged fuel filter. i' suspect the same with your vehicle. after removing the filter, simply blow through it. any resistance, means it needs replacing.

check your speed sensor output with a scanner

Should change an air spring , make a shure diagnostic for air leaks on each air spring , hoses and valves with lather

I have had this on B.M.W`s the traction control sensors on the front or rear hubs pack up,the quick way to check this is diagnostics it works cheaper in the long run..Good-luck....

I f you have ecu fitted,Itry disconnect positive lead on battery.Turn on ignition to get rid of any stored power .Pump brake pedal for about 20 secs(you will hear clicking in engine) when stops reconnect battery lead and try then

run scanner for trouble codes

you have a leak in one of your fuel lines . but its not be a outward leak its sucking air .first look at all of the steel lines. if no problem found go to all the rubber lines you are sure to find the problem

The check engine light indicates a fault in the engine management systems. Your car has stopped accelerating because it is locked in fail safe mode and normally you should be able to accelerate just enough to limp to the dealer where they wil scan the computer.
