I have found that a good number of these machines have a issue with the Intergration relay(Partial internal failure)-The vehicle in question is a 2006 Toyota Matrix,I found a whole used assembly(The fuse/relay housing that is under the drivers side fuse panel.....Ebay has some really good prices for these items and you also have the benefit of buyer protection,refunds,etc.-The whole assembly I bought for 85.00-I got the needed relay, all the upper relays, and everything else the dealer will charge premium prices for.....The ground wire located under the plastic battery tray has a nasty habit of rapid oxidization(check for this first)The last 5 cars of this make I have worked on have had this problem......Thank you and happy gremlin hunting!!!!

Id check your fuse panel first and see if the fuse is blown. if not turn on lights and check for voltage at each light. if the power is getting to lights then replace lights

2000 Chevy Silverado parking lights stay on. Will not shut off

Are all parking lights on or just front daytime running lights only? Either case sounds like a light control module in your fuse panel stuck.

Tail lights don't work and instrument panel won't light up on 2007 corolla

you blew a fuse. check fuses in both fuse boxes..
ahh yes, the IP cluster lamps are dad, but not the idiot warning lights
only the parking lights in the cluster are dead. right.?
and the park-tail, running lights and dash dim lights are all the same.
my guess three is a short on the TAIL fuse, the TAIL fuse blew
and took out: park-tail, running lights and dash dim lights are all the same.
it blew. most are marked tail even thought it runs side lamps and front parking lamps... TAIL is wrong, they are parking. lamps it truth.

park-run -tail
the most complex lights on car, huge number of lamps in side and outside. are ALL 20 dead ,side lamps. license, park, tail, dash , dash dim lights, ALL ?
check the fuses. first. always for ever and ever, check them first.
maked TAIL , even the front parks are run of TAIL. oddly.
parking lamps is the better term.
TAIL is 1929 word back when they had just 1 lamp... EEEEKKKSSS

Daytime running lamps control module. Fuse #37 - inside the passenger compartment or under hood fuse box ? Do you know how to use a volt meter an wiring diagram to find electrical problems ? You have a direct short to ground or fuse #37 wouldn't blow. Underhood fuse box fuse # 37 is for the park lamps .Supply's B+ voltage to the daytime running lamps module an the headlamp switch plus 37

Park, Tail and Marker Lamps
The park, tail and marker lamps, including the license lamps, are turned ON when the headlamp switch is placed in either the PARK or HEADLAMP position, or anytime the headlights are requested. The PARK LP fuse in the underhood accessory wiring junction block. When the headlamp switch is placed in the PARK position, battery positive voltage is applied to the park lamp circuit. The parklamp circuit then applies battery positive voltage to the DRL control module and to all the marker, park and tail lamps. The front park lamps are grounded at G101. The rear park lamps are grounded at G302. The license plate lamps are a part of the rear park lamp circuit and are grounded at G302 The inadvertent power control feature prevents the park lights from remaining on more than 10 minutes if left ON. If the park lights are turned ON after the ignition switch has been turned OFF, or is in the ACCY position, they will remain ON until turned OFF or the battery runs dead.

Dodge ram 1500- when car is in park, the "park lights" dont work.

The parking lights would not normally come on unless you turn them on with the headlight switch. The daytime running lights would come on in drive and go off in park.
If you can't turn the parking lights on with the headlight switch, you would check the fuse, the relay if equipped, and the headlight switch.

Daytime running lights no longer work after using handbrake.

When the parking brake is applied there is a switch that will cut off the daytime running lights, and they will not work as long as the parking brake is applied. If you have released the parking brake and they no longer work, either the switch that cuts them off is bad or the sensor for the lights is bad.
