SOURCE: daytime running lights and blinkers do not work

the lights are controlled by a module, it is the DRL module, replace it. also try this
On the inside of the car next to the light switch there is your dome light button. GM made it to where you could turn off the daytime running lights by pushing it three times in and out. Turn the vehicle on then do this. Your daytime running lights should work after this.

Where is the fuse located for the daytime running lights on a 2005 Chev Siveraado?

It is located in the underhood fuse/relay box , marked DRL 10 amp fuse ! Also if that is good check the DRL relay in the same fuse/relay box .Your light sensor could also be bad .
The daytime running lamps (DRL) will operate when the ignition switch is in the RUN position, for automatic transmissions (A/T), the gear selector is not in the PARK position, the headlamp switch is in the AUTO position, and for manual transmissions (M/T), the park brake is released. When these conditions have been met and the ambient light sensor indicates daytime conditions, the DRL will illuminate. The ambient light sensor is a light sensitive transistor that varies its voltage signal to the body control module (BCM) in response to changes to the outside (ambient) light level. When the BCM receives this signal it will either turn on the DRL or the headlamps for auto headlamp operation. Any function or condition that turns on the headlights will cancel the daytime running lamps operation. The DRL can be manually turned OFF by depressing the AHL/DRL switch in the headlamp switch
Do you know that on inside of fuse box lid it shows what fuse is what .

2003 Chevy mlibu, headlights won't turn off, which is draining my battery everytime the car engine is turned off. Where is the fuse for the headlights located and which fuse is it?

your malibu should have DRL, or daytime running lights. there are several fuses and relays associated with them. there are a few under the hood in your fuse box. just look for the diagram under the fuse box cover and locate the DRL or daytime running lights. hopefully that will help

My running lights are not working is there a fuse box inside the car

You have 3 fuses you need to inspect. All are under the hood in the power distribution relay box. Fuse first is the head main relay its a 30 amp fuse inspect to make sure its not open. You will also have a right hand lamp fuse and a left hand lamp fuse. Inspect and make sure they are not open. If all the fuse are good and your daytime running light are still non operation you can narrow it down to the daytime running light module. If this module sees a parking brake switch engage the daytime light will not operate.

99 ford contour daytime running lights work, but high beams do not.

I live in Australia & I don't fully understand the term " daytime running lights " but high beam & low beam lights are on separate fuses as is the parking lights so you probably have a blown fuse, check all the fuses in the fuse box......hope this helps......cheers.

Location of daytime driving lights fuse

Only the Canadian Spec vehicles have daytime running lights. Here are a couple of pics (wiring diagrams) which indicate the fuse is in the Dash Fuse Box

The info available does not specify its location on the fuse panel.

Day time head lights won't turn off

A simple fix is to pull fuse number 15 in the fuse box under the hood.... (by the radiator... long black box about 3 inches wide by 12 inches long.) It should be a 15 amp fuse. This will not really fix the issue, but its a heck of a lot easier than the tracking down you might need to do. What? It could be a headlamp switch, a daytime runninglight module, or a short in the wire for the daytime running lights. This simple easy thing is to pull the fuse and see if that works for you now. (You will lose daytime running lights doing this. So determine if you need those first... legally or otherwise.)

Which fuse do you take out to shut off the day time running lights???

In your fuse box you'll find the DRL relay. this is the one that you remove to shut the daytime running lights off. This fuse box or relay center is located under the hood.
