Could be a few things. Maybe start with air filter or MAF sensor. Fuel filter may be partially blocked. If that isn't your problem check to see if your having a miss in one of youer cylinders. Hope this helps

Likely built into the alternator. You can replace it by disassembling the alternator but easier to replace the entire unit. Try rock auto for good price for reacement.

IF you mean that it is not down shifting when slowing or stopping then it is time to have it serviced. This could be a solenoid that is hanging up.
