Question about 1995 Volkswagen Jetta
Fuses and bulbs are good
If the 10A brake light fuse 20 is OK, the brake light switch or the brake light sockets could be defective. There also could be missing ground connections
The back-up light problem could be caused by a defective park/neutral position relay

Same thing as the Chev. Check the dip switch on the combination switch. Also sheck reverse light switch by removeing the connector and jumping. Do the same check for the stop lights be it pressure or contact switch.
