Consider inspecting battery cables. They may look ok, but could be corroded and oxidized inside. If so, they have difficulty passing adequate current to starter/ground. I've always had issues with exactly this with 87 Cressida and 95 Camry.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. If you have no power to the interior lights, it is being caused by the battery. Make sure the battery is able to hold the charge. If it is leaking, it would cause the battery to not hold the charge, even after jump start. The alternator may be weak or defective also. Get the battery charged and start the vehicle. Start it and take off the hot side battery post from the battery. If it dies instantly, your alternator is bad. If it stays started, check the terminals, wires, and post to the battery. Make sure they are not damaged and make sure they are clean. A bad starter wouldn't cause your engine to die while running. It is either a bad alternator, battery, or bad connection.

if you have power to the fuse and beyond, follow that circuit through the ignition ,, I'd bet thats where your problem is, its going to be the circuit that goes to the relay itself,, since thats where you seem to be having the problem,

SOURCE: 06 pontiac grand prix wont start no clicking when you turn the key over even jump starting the battery, has dash lights & radio & parking lights. battery tested good. put a used starter & altinator on
Used parts such as starters and altinators don't last. It might **** but it sounds like you need to buy a new starter, altinator, and battery. Or just start with buying one at a time.
