Wobbling in fromt end

2004 GMC Envoy. Daughter called and said her front tire was wobbling. I don't live near her but had her hubby change to the spare in case tir broke the bead or radial tire malfunction. You know, go for the simplest thing first! It is still doing it and we cannot get into the dealer until next thurs. What could this be?

Ok, not too much to go on, but possibly a tie rod end, or wheel bearing? Has anyone slid into a curb (there's been a lot of slippery driving lately) , or hit a big pot hole? The last 2 possibilities would indicate some type of front end damage to the vehicle. Let me know what u find, or if u have anymore symptoms to add for clues.

Why after I took my four wheel drive out the front wobbles? sometime and over 55 mph its making a loud humming sound?

For the wobbling. Can you feel the wobbling in the steering wheel? If so. 1 Check tires for knots or steel breaks, 2 bent rims. 3 Check lug nuts, Also check oil-grease in front end. Humming could very well be dry front end or bearing.

Front passenger tire is wobbling almost like a bent rim but not the problem

Check the wheel rim for distortion. Check the tyre for distortion. Check the wheel bearing for wear. Check the steering track rod end and ball joint for wear. Check the brake disk for distortion.
If you have done all that, then you will have likely already found the cause of the problem.

My front right tire wobbles on my 2000 chevy cavalier but my tire is new

It wobbles? like when your driving it vibrates and stuff. If so its not your tire. It could be anything. Loose lug nuts. Bad Hub assembly. Suspension. Brakes. or if it really is the tire. it might be out of round. or need to be rotated to the back of the vehicle

1986 F150 2wd, front suspension hops uncontrolably when one or both wheels hit a dip or manhole cover in road. I have to almost stop to get it to quit jumping up and down. Too many new parts have been...

I had a chev truck do that once . It was the tires were out of balance. A friend of mine had to put stablizer shock on the steering tie rod to stop his. It looks like a long shock that mounts to the frame and the tie rod shaft. Good Luck

2004 GMC ENVOY Steering wheel shaking, could this be the ball joints or alignment? I know it needs an alignment, because the toe is out.

Shaking of the front wheels indicates either an out of balance condition of one of the tires or a suspension component having too much play (such as ball joints). Have a front end shop check this out before a more serious condition occurs.

Front tire is wobbling and making loud wobbling sound as well as a rattling sound like a loose bearing. how do i troubleshoot and fix

It sounds like you need to have the wheel bearing replaced. If you do one, have the other done as well, and have them (if 4 wheel drive) check the u-joints on the front end as well. It could be this too.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
