Question about 1994 Nissan Maxima
I have a 1994 Nissan Maxima, SOHC, close to 154,000 miles. I have an ongoing issue where the car sputters when accelerating, often having difficulty going from 1100-2000 rpms. Then the rpms jump from about 1500/1600 to 2000 rpms. Normally this occurs if I attempt to floor the fuel pedal. If I gently accelerate, it still does it but less frequently. I have recently had the transmission rebuilt (about 1 year ago). I have also replaced the MASS air flow sensor. There is adequate fluid in the transmission. I have had a tune up less than 20,000 miles ago.
Can anyone give me a clue?
Any help is appreciated.
