A code P0304 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
If there are symptoms such as the engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the catalytic converter has gone bad. If you smell rotten eggs in the exhaust, your cat converter needs to be replaced. I've also heard in other cases the problems were faulty fuel injectors.
Hope this helps with your problem. Best of luck.

I think the compression pressure from each cylinder needs to be checked. There are built-up carbon residues around valve seats causing poor compression hence losing power under load. If this is a case then only a valve job could improve the situation. Depending on the mileage, worn out piston rings could contribute to the reduction of compression ratio, but it can be determined at the time of the valve job. Good luck.

If everything seems to be all right with the ignition & fuel systems, then you need to perform an engine compression test. The air pressure should be around 210 psi ... 175 psi. Minimum air pressure value = 150 psi. The most important thing is that the difference of air pressure between cylinders
If the engine compression test will be all right, then you need to scan the Engine Control Module (ECM) using a diagnostic scantool connected to the data link connector of the car in order to find out all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) memored. It's possible to find bad oxygen sensor, weared catalytic converter, ....
