I understand replacing the battery

I have no idea why or how many fuses you replaced
I can see replacing any that may have blown, but not
any other ones

A fuse is just a piece of metal, it doesn't know polarity
or fail as a result.

It seems no one understands the diagnostic connector
is only to check for stored codes, unless your going to go
for a test drive with professional scan tool software

I would look for an open fusible link.

They may be a plug in like a relay, don't know

You need reference material or owners manual for that

Apart from the fuse cutting off you might have had some wires cut off too. Have an expert take a look at it for you.

I experienced this before.

Good luck.

SOURCE: no electrical power after replacing battery

I've had similar problems with my cars, and everytime it was a bad ground or power wire, or corrosion on the terminals. Get a wire brush and clean both battery connecters..even a little corrosion can cause a no power situation. If you have a test light, connect the ground of the test light to the negative cable of the battery and touch light to the positive cable...if the test light doesn't light up, then you have a break or lose connection in your ground wire. Trace the battery ground to the engine block and clean that also...the smallest thing can interupt power...hope this helps..

Why won't my 2012 Suzuki Grand Vitara start?

ill answer for NO ELECTRICAL POWER :
sure and is easy with any DMM meter, got one? any $20 DMM.
my guess;1
engine will not crank
dash lamps out.
head lights out. dead.
post systems of electrical system , all parts that work and those that dont work, and problem is easy.
cleaned battery terminals.
tried borrowed battery that reads, 12.6vdc ? (charged is 12.6)
2012 that is in warranty car.... ?
my guess on 2012
jumping a car, that is battery jump starting.
a battery can short, and no jump start on earth will start shorted battery in car. but does lay down some big sparks, or burns up cheap walmart cables.
if the car will not crank, say just that, my starter motor will not crank
jump started from live running other car.
if true then make sure headlights work , if they dont work fix that first.
HL must always work, even keys in pocket.
best is to put a fully charged battery in the car, jump starting can cause
surges that can damage sensitive electronic$$$, do jumps as a desperate measure,
with a charged battery,
1: Head lights work, no fix that , use voltmeter
2: cranks robustly.
no , wiggle shifter lever, (on A/T cars the park switch blocks cranking) On M/T the clutch blocks cranking.
with any dMM
measure battery voltage before crank and during.
12.6v good. reseted.
0 to 10v bad (weak battery or shorted starter motor)
11 and above good. and must crank, if not , starter is bad.
to prove starter is bad, check voltage at starter solenoid coil wire lug.
it must be at 11v cranking , below 8v it chatters, and fails.
if at 0v cranking this lug that means the Key start line is failing.
A/T switch not closes, or bad ignition switch.

The car battery is losing it's charge when vehicle is not running

You have what is called a parasitic draw on the electrical system , battery . Could be a control module not powering down when it's should . a electrical componet is staying on . , light in glove box , something you can't see . Bad diode in the alternator could cause this . But this just gussing , testing is the way to a fix . Watch thesed videos on testing for a draw on the system . Improved Methods to Find Parasitic Draw Battery Drains Overnight

I am unable to start my 2005 toyota land cruiser after 2 months of storage

start by having the battery tested, if it checks out then charge it on a trickle charger re install and try again. if nothing happens check all connections, you can try jumping power straight to the solenoid to see if the ignition switch or solenoid is the issue

Speedometer wont work, gas gauge way past full, abs lite on and service engine all happened at once. original problem was starter engaging on its own while driving. replaced power cable and starter. then...

During the time of the original there was a short cuircit in the electrical system, The short caused the ECU to be damaged. THe ECU controls all the componets you described (plus many many more). I am quite shocked that the vehicle has maintained any functionality at all, by my reckoning the vehicle should not start at all.

2005 Town & Country Van dead battery after short trips

Possible dead cell in battery, most likely a fault in the charging system. First, Jump Vehicle to get started then remove the Negative cable. If the vehicle dies when you take the jumper cables away or when you disconnect the negative cable your alternator or charging system is faulty. If the vehicle runs without battery connected you have a bad cell in your battery, replace the battery.

You might need to get your electrical system checked beause may have a short that could be draining the battery while you don't drive. Try to get it checked at more than one place so you can find an accurate answer for your problem.
