Question about 2003 Oldsmobile Bravada
It seems like the Blower for the heat and AC in my 2003 Bravada goes on randomly when I have it on. It's getting cold out and I"m starting to get nervous about this. I went out today and I must have driven 30 mins before the blower went on. Seems to heat coming out of the vents though.
Try this. When the blower is not working open the hood. Locate the blower on the passenger side near the firewall. Most likely it is covered with a thin rubber piece but it may not be. Turn the key to the run position. The engine does not need to be running. Turn the blower speed switch to high. Tap the blower with the handle end of a large screw driver. If the blower starts to work replace it.

SOURCE: Heater/AC fan only works on High
Bencar1 is right. The problem is probably the resistor. But it also could be a burned terminal in the 4 prong plug that attaches to the resistor. There will be burn marks on one of the prongs of the resistor if this is it. Look for the obvious. Good luck.

The problem u are having is caused by the AC/heater temperature control blend door actuator motor, it is defective and must be replaced to correct this problem. In order to access to this part u will need to remove the dash.

It is very likely that the Air conditioner evaporator core is restricted due to leaves or some other object may be blocking air flow like a plastic bag, does it do this on both outside air and recirculation setting?

Go under hood and follow the hose from the cruise servo to a three way connector. I'll bet the three way vac. connector is leaking. Replace it. They turn grey and fall apart.
