SOURCE: bad leak from little 2 inch L shaped hose next to lower firewall

its either the hose,or the heater core.
the core can crack where the pipes meet the core and
if you can smell antifreeze in the car and the windshield fogs,it is the core....the hose can also crack on the inside of the firewall and get misdiagnosed as a heater core.
big job,the dash has to come out

Where is the ac Low port 2007 ford edge?

The low pressure port is either on the black oblong canister or very close to it. Automakers usually put the high pressure side closer to the radiator. The ports are different sizes so the refill connections should not fit each other, making it harder to connect the wrong port.

My 1998 Crown Victoria had steamed the passenger side windshield, digital thermostat never indicated that the engine was hot, i smell antifreeze, water leaking inside passenger side by glove box and a

It sure sounds like the heater core, especially if you have water leaking inside the cabin. The two heater hoses only go from the engine to the firewall, and do not go into or through the firewall. They connect to the heater core right at the firewall.
Check carefully around the back side of the engine and the heater hoses, though. If a freeze plug is leaking, water will be dripping off the bottom of the engine. If it is leaking before the firewall, that would not be the heater core.

I have white smoke/steam coming from my air vents and antifreeze leaking from a spout in my firewall. Any ideas/solutions?

Your heater core is leaking steamed antifreeze into the vents and possible out the firewall, where the heater hoses connect to it. Have that checked out.

I have a vacuum hose sucking air on the passenger side of the truck and i dont see where it it goes

I have a 94 ram. I just replace a few lines today. There are too lines that are right next to the valve cover close to the injectors. The lower one goes to the pcv. The other connects to a line coming out of the throttle body and then to a check valve that splits into two lines one goes to firewall the other to the other line just above to one that goes to the pcv. Good luck

94 - 850 non turbo starts and runs okay but after awhile fule starts leaking around the front of car close to or maybe past the firewall where could this possibly be coming from ?

If I'm not mistaken, right about at firewall is a rubber hose that connects steel fuel line coming from tank to steel line to engine. Check there for your leak.

How difficult is it to replace the connections to the heater hoses? They broke off trying to disconnect the hoses from the firewall.

Do you mean the pipes that come through the fire wall broke off? Those are part of the heating core. You must replace the heating core.

Hose broke off the firewall need to know how to get it off to replace.. it has a white thing that was attached to the firewall it broke off in the hose we cant get the piece off the firewall to replace

When you say hose - is it a large water type hose? The hoses that connect near the firewall would be heater hoses. Is there a piece stuck in the end of the hose that came off? That would indicate a damaged heater core and the only repair is to replace it from inside the vehicle.

If it is a smaller hose it could be vacuum tubing that operates equipment inside the cab. A white piece on that would indicate the vacuum port that the tube was connected to and that part would likely need to be replaced.

Front windsheild is steaming up

If you are talking about steaming up on the inside, you could have a heater core leaking coolant. Check the passenger side front carpet and see if it's wet. A big job to replace.

Heater hose broke

there should be two bolts on the inside holding it into place or it could be your heater core that they belong to . I have seen them bolted to the inner fire wall .
