you can pull the boat no problem. as putting in a 6.2 for the 454 you will need to change wire harness inside and out..im the brake booster...... the gear ratio in the rear ends ..fuel pump ..im guessing you have a truck you will be using for parts.. if you are doing for fuel mileage you will be disappointed you will only gain a couple of mpg .. hopes this helps

Well the only thing i can think of is when your fuel is below half a tank the pressure relief valve and a rubber hose between the pump and the fuel line is exposed. Its possible your fuel is leaking back into the gas tank as it sits overnight, ect. You may want to perform a fuel pressure check when the the gas is at 1/4 tank and been sitting for awhile, pressure should hit 55 seconds after key is turned to run position.

UNDER THE HOOD IS A DIAGRAM OF HOW THE BELT IS ROUTED. TAKE NOTE OF THE WHITE STICKER ON THE FAN SCHROUD, JUST ABOVE THE FAN. THE TENSIONER PULLEY IS THE ONE YOU NEED TO ROTATE IN ORDER TO RELEASE THE TENSION ON THE BELT FOR REMOVAL. USING A 15 OR 16 MM SOCKET, ROTATE THE TENSIONER UNTIL YOU RELIEVE THE TENSION AND SLIDE THE BELT OFF ONE OF THE SMOOTH PULLEYS. THEN RELEASE THE RATCHET EASY SO IT DOESN'T SPRING BACK UP. UNRAVEL THE BELT AND INSTALL THE NEW ONE USING THE DIAGRAM. JUST A HINT: IF THE PULLEY HAS RIDGES THEN THE BELT HAS TO BE ON THE RIDGED SIDE OF THE BELT, IF IT HAS A SMOOTH PULLEY, THEN IT RIDES ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BELT. WHEN YOU ALMOST HAVE THE BELT ON THE LAST PULLEY, ROTATE THE TENSIONER AGAIN AND SLIDE THE BELT ON THE LAST PULLEY. IT HELPS IF THE LAST PULLEY IS A SMOOTH ONE. HOPE THIS HELPS ENOUGH TO FINISH THE JOB. PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED. THANKS FOR AN HONEST RATING AND FOR USING FIX-YA. GOOD LUCK.
