Question about 2006 Volkswagen Touran 1.9

Open Question

My windscreen washer doesn't power up and squirt water

At the same time my rear windscreen wiper doesn't work...both within days of each other. What could be the problem? I have had the fuses checked, and they're fine. I'd also be interested to know if anyone knows whether the windscreen washers are computer controlled or normal wiring. If anyone can shed any light on this, that would be most appreciated!! Maybe someone know where I might be able to get a wiring diagram from for this vehicle...which incase it doesn't show it, is a VW Touran 1.9 tdi 2004? Oh and another point...whilst I'm asking...my rear passenger side door is permanently locked...ideas anyone?? Thank you

Cant get water through to the back windscreen wiper

Check for a broken wiper washer fluid hose leading to the rear nozzle.

Check that the wiper washer water pump works.

Check to make sure the switch is sending current to the washer pump motor.

Check that the rear nozzle is not clogged.

My Kia 2003 rio front windscreen water not working

Take off the pipe at the pump then use the washer switch and see if the water sprays out. To check if the pump is working you will need someone to use the switch while you hold your hand on the pump you should feel or hear the pump working. If the pump is going but no water spraying blow back through it and try again. If it dosent work then you will probably need a pump.

Rear wiper and washer of BMW 5 E39 not working

I had the same problem. I thought it was an issue with a blown fuse, but also noticed that the rear wiper was very stiff.
I solved it by opening the rear window (so the wiper is not clicked into the motor) then squirt some WD40 into the wiper mechanism (I put the oil in from the outside). Gently move the wiper from side to side until it starts to free up - after a couple of movements the wiper should be moving freely again. No issues since.

At the same time, check that the washer jet is correctly angled. Mine was squirting directly into the wiper which may have caused it to rust up a bit.

Rear wiper does not work at all. front wipers work fine. rear washer works

1. check the fuse to the rear wiper motor
2. check for power to rear wiper motor at the motor (power wire going in to the wiper motor with rear wiper switch on)
If you have good fuses & have power going in to the rear wiper motor...
3. Pull old rear wiper motor and install a new rear wiper motor.
Thank you please drive thru......

Horn plus rear windscreen wiper not working

i presume you mean wiper water pump... first locate the relays for the horn and rear wiper and replace them... usually found in the fuse panel under the dash... then fill up the rear water resevoir for the back wiper and try it again.
