Im not 100 percent sure , but if the car has an imobiliser sometimes if your car battery has lost a lot of charge the car will crank over , but will not have enough power to disengage the imobiliser. try jump leads to another car and see how you go .

I was riding my 400 Eiger, crank case filled up with gas. Now I have no spark at the plug. Have replaced the ignition coil and spark plug still no spark. Its a 2004 with only 450 miles.

DON'T USE YOUR 400 EIGER!!! From the little information you have given, this sounds like a SERIOUS problem. SERIOUS USUALLY MEANS EXPENSIVE!!!
The only way to get 'gas' in the crank case is if the piston rings or pistons have failed!! GET IT TO A GOOD MECHANIC!!!

What would cause Suzuki Aerio to stall and not start again. Checked fuses, no exhaust coming out of tail pipe when I turn it over. Lots of battery.

over 50 causes. Id never guess. why would I?
what works best is called Diagnosis, saving a ton of cash
on wasted parts Gue$$ing.

i cant decode your post.
Ok tank is full of fuel?. (lots of gas?) so is one of 6 engines not 7.
will not start.
but all cars must crank fast to start. cranking its called.
go to netflix, click, Henry Ford watch him crank his car.
funny to watch, and is why we call it cranking....
my car push starts and gravity starts. (w/starter in car missing)

so does it crank? fast?, the crank shaft pulley in front of
engine spins fast, and then fails to start the engine>?
my wild guess is YES. it cranks good.

i decode "lots of battery "is (cranks fast)?
if yes, check for spark next , even to the point of new spark plugs
got 200k on those spark plugs do you?
ever get a tune up ever?
cranks >>>starts >>>runs...and not stall.
if it has spark ,it will run on test fuel ,does it?
do the full tune up then.

next time you post engine questions, do tell which of 7 engines you have.

1.3 L I4; 1.5 L I4; 1.6 L I4; 1.8 L I4; 2.0 L I4; 2.3 L I4; 1.4 L Diesel I4 we can not guess engines, it must be stated.

does your engine have cam timing belt, if yes, ever replace it in
last 60k miles. per the operators guide.?

Did you check for spark at more than one or two spark plugs? The spark is there, and the spark plugs are wet with gas? Is it flooded? Or is it getting too much gas? For a flooded engine, you know to open the intake valve wide open by holding the gas pedal to the floor, and cranking for up to 15 seconds? This will let a lot of air in and clear out most of the excess gas. Or have you tried this already?
Spark, gas, and compression: that is all that the cylinders need to run. In a well-timed engine, that is. A little gas/air mixture, then compression, then a spark is delivered and it runs. One of those three things is not right or missing for your engine not to start. Or you will have to recheck timing.

What can cause a 1995 corcica to go dead and smell of gas

Check for leaking fuel lines or a puddle of gas under the car. If the exhaust smells like gas then the gas isn't burning completely and may be a number of things like spark plugs, plug wires, clogged air intake, fuel injector that stuck open...

Oil smells like gas

Sounds like the engine has been flooded with gas due to excessive cranking which drained past the cold piston rings into oil crankcase. You have fuel & air but you do not have spark. 3 things come to mind: spark plugs, spark plug wires and ignition coils. Coils are on top with spark plug wires coming off them. Best of luck.

Lancer timing

-Try one more time. When pull out the plug, make sure ground it.
If there is spark shown. It could be the rotor point to the wrong cylinder plug wire.

Cranks but doesnt start

I am a self emplyed mechanic, if a motor cranks but does not start, that is not a starter, you need to see if you have gas or spark . is there a buzzing in the gas tank when you turn the key. if so then you have gas. now you needto see if you have spark. need 2 people to do this . pull a spark plug wire and stick a screw drive in the boot and crank the motor please stand back, and look for spark. if you have spark. then you need a crank position sensor thank you ted

Car wont start tried a few things it cranks but wont turn over and i have pulled the plugs out to see if there is spark and there is also when i took the spark plug out i put gas in there and it still...

If no spark, timing belt may have snapped. Hopefully, the pistons didn't bend the valves. Were you driving the car when it stopped running? If it just won't start, my just be the ignition coil.
