Check engine light will illuminate. get codes read
Longer crank time(during startup).
Rough running idle, and poor engine performance.
These are what come to mind.

This trick may work on your jeep and 95 and older chrysler corp. vehicles.(OBD I)
Turn key on, off , on , off , on CEL will go to self diagnostic mode and begin to flash your codes. example Flash Flash Flash pause Flash Flash Flash long pause = 33. Each code will be repeated 3 times then the next code and so on. Code 55 is an End code. Codes are only two digits. hope this helps.

The most obvious symptom would be a check engine light; however, since you have a vehicle with a manufacturer date before 1996, you don't have the more integrated and informative OBD2 plug. If you have a OBD1 code reader specific to Chrysler, then you may still be able to pull the trouble code.

Many vehicles will not even start if the camshaft sensor is reading incorrectly, as the vehicle would be unable to properly calibrate its engine timing.

How to install crankshaft position senser 2005 Suzuki forenza

the 2.0 liter in USA? twin cam 2 liter.? post what it is and win.....
there are over 5 engines used world wide.
we have answered this like 10 times here... ever search first?

the CKP sensor.
is covered in the FSM book as is the diagnostic table.
why no scan the PCM first to see if its bad, it reports it !!!
the book is 4 bucks, why not just read the official book.?
https://suzukipitstopplus.com/Products/1064-2005-forenza-reno-service-manual.aspx

it can only be in 3 places... on all engines. if fitted.
front of crank near pulley.
mid crank
or near or at flywheel , even behind it impossible to get to.

so, ill post the photo again.
crank sensor (names to get hits, for next search)
The CKP sensor
crank position sensor. (CPS is old name)
crank timing sensor.
The crank sensor...
usa car, 2.0L only
there are 7 steps... to get it out.
im not posting them, all.
but, if you read the FSM book above, it tells you the A/C compressor must be removed. and it's UNDER THERE.
why not post symptoms and not guess this part is bad.
ever think to do that? did you scan the PCM first?

2006 Suzuki forenza got codes checked got p0340 p0401 p2105 p2106 p2110 p2135 p0107 p0131 and p161b does that mean I have to change all of them or could just one or two be my problem with all of them?

It is a good rule of thumb to start with the source of the problem and see of it takes care of any peripheral issues. I would look at all of your code descriptions and try to figure out what they all have in common and correct that problem, reset codes, and see if other issues come back. Or reset your codes and see what code pops back up first.

Speed sensor

there are many on some cars 5 or more.
what engine,? what transmission?
1: crank shaft rpm CKP sensor.
2: VSS 1 tranny front sensor Automatics.
3: vss 2 tranny rear. """
4:speedo back up VSS to vss 1.
5: cam speed, or Angle.

why not say the symptoms and why VSS is on your mind.
did you use a scan tool, if not why not?
the scan tool will tell you which sensors readings are wrong
and just because one is, dont mean the sensor is bad.
the PCM /ECU never knows what is bad, ONLY what tests
failed (called monitors) and its the job of the technician
to do the FSM tests. and find TRUE CAUSE.

SCAN it and stop guessing, or go broke.

WHAT IS THE CODE P0341

This P0341 code basically means that the powertrain control module (PCM) detected a problem with the camshaft signal. The camshaft position sensor (CPS) sends a specific signal to the PCM for Top Dead Center on the compression stroke as well as signals indicating the position of the cam sensor. This is accomplished through a reluctor wheel attached to the camshaft that passes by the cam sensor. Any time that the signal to the PCM is inconsistent with what the signal should be, this code is set. NOTE: this code can also be set by extended cranking periods.
FB.init("dd7d9e9681341cde77587bc6a2029f6f"); OBD-Codes.com on Facebook Symptoms The car will likely run with this code set, as it is often intermittent and also because the PCM can often operate the vehicle in "limp-in/limp-home" mode even with a cam sensor signal problem. There may be no noticeable symptoms other than:
  • Poor fuel economy (if engine runs)
  • Possible no start condition
Causes A code P0341 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • Cam sensor wiring routed too close to spark plug wiring (causing interference)
  • Poor wiring connection at cam sensor
  • Poor wiring connection at PCM
  • Bad cam sensor
  • Damaged reluctor wheel
Possible Solutions Often relacing the sensor fixes this code, but not necessarily. Therefore it's important to check the following:
  • Check that the wiring isn't routed too close to any secondary ignition components (coil, spark plug wires, etc.)
  • Visually inspect the wiring at the sensor for any burn marks, discoloration indicative of melting or chafing
  • Visually inspect the cam sensor for damage
  • Visually inspect the reluctor wheel through the cam sensor port (if possible) for any missing teeth or any damage
  • If reluctor isn't visible from outside the engine, visual test can only be done by removing cam shaft or intake manifold (depending on engine design)
  • If all checks out okay, then replace the sensor.

How do i find the cam shaft sensor in my truck nissan

The cam sensor is likely not the issue. I think both engines used the opti spark style ignition. Typically what happens is either the distributor gets oil in it and blocks the holes in the exciter ring or the sensor goes bad. Either way it will cause the vehicle not to start.

From your symptom I would suspect something in the secondary ignition. Since you already replaced the spark plugs I would suspect that the wires, cap, and or rotor also need to be replaced.

With the engine running you can wet these components down with soapy water. If the engine starts to run bad your on the right track. replace them and you should be good as new.
