If they are the same as the manifold studs, then they are on the side of the engine, and they are what secure the manifold to the side of the engine. either that or at the bottom of the manifolds, which would hold the front portion of the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold. what kind of work (if any) was done that caused these to be broken?

SOURCE: 2005 dodge Ram 1500 truck 5.7 Hemi check engine lights comes on

Two things you want to know about the check engine light on any vehicle. One is it's an emission warning. The most common cause is a loose gas cap, make sure it clicks when you gas up. Second, is that being an emissions light, is that it'll require some test equipment to find the problem if you checked the gas cap and it's tight. You will want to do that at your friendly Dodge dealer. Why? They'll not only know what it is, it might be fixed free in the emissions warranty which has some parts that are covered longer than the vehicle's regular warranty. The shop on the corner doesn't do warranty work and they're not going to tell you if it might be covered.

Just started hearing a clicking noise coming from the rear of my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500....5.7 V-8 Hemi.....Checked both rear brake, and that doesnt seem to be the problem...From some research, I think it...

Could this clicking sound be coming from the engine area? Hemi's are known for breaking exhaust manifold bolts and making a clicking sound which is a exhaust leak..

I am reading that the dodge ram 1500 hemi takes 16 plugs,is this true and how do you get the back plug out that is under the break housing area

there are indeed 16 plugs in the hemi engine. 8 of which are under the 8 ignition coils the other 8 are under the wires coming from the coils. You may have to remove some air filter tubing or engine covers to remove the coils, wires and plugs. good luck
