They will move really slowly sometimes or just quit moving at all.

When you say the window sticks...do you mean it won't operate at all, or it moves really-really slowly?

More then likely there is a moving part that isn't moving so freely anymore, and that can happen for many reasons..anything from a very small pebble getting caught somewhere and putting pressure on the window rail alignment too the windows motor just being very-very tired.

Unless you're familiar with being inside the door panel and power window assemblies, I would suugest that you find a good body shop....by good I don't mean the most expensive, there are shops that are just getting started that are far superior to the more estabished shops in labor knowledge.

I wish I could tell you something more to the point, but as with everything else, unless the car is right here, it's very hard to tell you exactly what's wrong, let alone how to fix it.

At most, unless it's the motor that needs replacing, something like this shouldn't take more then an hour of time, remember, always get an estimate before okaying any work, and get the estimate in writing.

Sorry I couldn't help you anymore then this

i suggest the motor is either sticking or bad. you have to take the panel off and fool with the window motor by tapping it or just removing it from the window and then push the up button.

Car wont start in the rain

Hi, your disributer cap must be letting moisture in or it has a hair crack.
REplace it with a new one & also spray some sort of water repellent (WD40) onto the new cap inside & out.
Also smear some grease around the rim of the cap to stop mositure getting in.
This cured a VW that plagued us every time their was either rain or fog.
Also check you rotor arm as well for hair cracks or just replace it with a new one.
