I have a 2005 Frontier LE, purchased in Nov 2005, started having electrical problems (battery dead) approx one year later. Nissan replaced my battery in Feb 2007 (diagnostically everything checked out fine), started having same problem the first part of Dec 2008, Nissan again replaced the battery. I am STILL having the same problem. Just picked up my truck from the dealership today, they charged up the battery, and again found no defective parts and no drain on the system. I am getting tired of jump starting my vehicle two to three times daily. I understand the fact that electrical problems are hard to diagnose, but come on..........The dealership keeps wanting to blame it on the battery, what are the chances that I would get 3 bad batteries? There has got to be a solution. What happened to good old fashioned mechanics that can rely on their knowlege and experience?

Make sure you have 12 volts from the positive side of the battery to the starter. Check the small wire on the starter solenoid and make sure you have 12 volts when cranking engine. If voltage is correct, the starter is bad

Cruise Control Problem

The two circuits your complaining about have only one thing in common, the vehicles charging system.
I suggest you have the battery ,cables, alternator and wires behind alternator checked out.

The only other item I could think of regarding the cruse control is vacuum. But then it would happen all the time, thats why I believe it to be electrical in nature.
