It could be your fuel pump, when you start the car do you hear the pump making a humming sound (just want to make sure the relay hasnt given way)

Try putting in at least three gallons, it it still will not run you have likely fried the electric fuel pump inside the gas tank.

Where is the starter located on a 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara?

one of the hardest starters to remove
only held on by two bolts but not enough room to remove it
without taking a lot of parts off

will be best to buy a 2006-2014 vitara repair manual

see if the exhaust manifold removal makes it possible
or the engine mount bracket

this is the 2008 starter

Try to start my suzuki grand vitara v6 and the motor won't fully turn over. But the starter is doing its job, and there's full power inside vehicle.

Even if you have power the starter is not getting enough cold cranking amps to fully turn the starter.
Charge or jump battery.
This can also be caused by dirty batt cable connections clean them at batt if not fixed clean and tighten at starter
Hope this helps mike

I try to start my vitara but all it does is clicks and the gas gauge moves up alittle then drops back down acts like it not have any gas and yes it does have gas

The clicking that you hear is the starter solenoid. You either have a dead battery, or a corroded battery cable connection. You cant always see the second one, so it's best to clean the connections wether or not you think they look corroded.
Either way, jump starting or push starting (if it's a manual trans) will get you home.

Since I replaced the battery my car's engine shuts down.

Did you resolved the problem?

I also have a Grand Vitara, and just replaced the battery and once I turn the vehicle on, it will shut off.

What it is going on?

Thanks

Suzuki grand vitara 2000 model the engine light blinks

Take your rig.. drive it to a gas station.. fill the tank up with gas.. also fill 2 jugs of gasoline at the same time... put the jugs in the back of it.. now drive as far as you can until the rig runs out of gas.. then, take the two jugs of gas.. pour it all over the rig, inside and out.. now light it a-blaze, then walk to your nearest car dealer and buy a new car..
