SOURCE: Dash lights up and says TSMP

the light u are redering to is ur TPMS light(tire pressure monitoring sysyem) ....there may be a problem with ur tires pressure sensors or maybe not enough air pressure...various causes of that light..u must take it to a dealer or tire shop and they can be more specific once they get the code for that system...maybe not enough tire pressure or a bad sensor...consult ur local honda dealer or tire shop...

TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Check ALL including the spare tire for proper air pressure. If all is well then check the fuse for the TPMS module. If all is well there, off to the dealer you may have to go.

SOURCE: Wondering how to reset maintenance light on a 2005 Honda Accord

Look in the owner's manual. It has it in there how to reset it. Usually it just has to do with selecting the oil quantity select and holding it down....or cycling the ignition a few times. Check your manual though....it will have it in there.

Your local parts dealer may have a hand held diagnostic computer that can be connected to your vehicle, and the code can be cleared. Most of the time, they will do this for free.

I replaced my 08 accord wheels with an 09 accord wheels

thank your gorvernment. they required auto makers to implement some sort of tire pressure monitoring system in all vehicles. More than likely what needs to be done is a re-initialization of the sensors. it will most likely need to be performed by a dealer.

My oil light in my 1996 honda accord keeps blinking and I put in 5quarts of oil today

Have this checked before you drive the car to long distance. The oil light on this car comes on when the pressure falls below about 9 psi. Have the oil pressure inspected with an oil pressure gauge. If you are lucky it's just a failing oil pressure switch, but it could be a clogged oil pick up screen or even an oil pump failure.

The first thing that can be done is try resetting the car by removing the battery and reconnecting it thus performing a hard reset..

I have a honda 1993 the oil light is on .I change

10 psi minimum at idle and 50psi at 3000 rpm are needed for the light to be off. If you have this check for a bad ground wire and reset the CEL.
Good luck...i hope this helps
