Question about 2007 Ford F

Car died when driving as if it had ran out of fuel

Have a p reg 1800 ford died the other day.had some one look at it and he thinks it something to do with fuel injectors.i may sound dumb but is it possible to take them off and clean them.if thats the been really difficult to start just lately especially when its cold so have battery on charge to see if that helps.any other tips would be really helpfull

Yea you can clean your injector by taking off but there is another way to cleaning it no pain,just go buy some 144k fuel injector cleaner at the express lube its a bg product it a high solvent that can melt all the carbons or dirt on the injectors i may suggest to change the fuel filter too cause this could cause same way with your injectors..or try to tap your injector with peace of metal maybe the needle just only stuck..

Are you saying you think it is getting too much fuel, or not enough ?
Could be the choke or something inside the carb.

Most likely the fuel pump,when the fuel filter gets that restricted,it most of the time,is not long before the fuel pump goes out,because of the strain on the pump.

have you had the fuel reg. checked could be bad and making the pump try tp keep up the pressure on it's own. under a load
