P0191 is Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance
P2196 and P2198 are lean bank 1 and lean bank 2. You normally show lean bank codes if the air-fuel ratio is not correct. The most common cause is a hole in the hoses between the PCV valve and the intake on the motor (back of the motor generally). The fuel rail pressure sensor code could either be caused by the vacuum leak or by a failing fuel regulator. I would first check for holes in the rubber hoses especially where there are right angle rubber hose connectors. Look for soft squishy or oily spots on the hoses.

SOURCE: My 2012 Ford Explorer xlt check engine light came on and codes p2198 and p2196 came up. But the next day the check engine light went out. So does this mean the sensors are faulty or do have a proble
Those 2 codes are O2 Sensor codes, mixture too rich. O2 sensor may be faulty, Take to shop.

SOURCE: I have codes p0202 p0203 p2196, when i go to ford dealer they told me i need a new engine because cylinder #2 is low in compression only 17%, but the report they gave me doesn't show the code p2196.
Code P2196 indicates a rich condition. My guess is that raw fuel is passing through the non-firing cylinders is the cause of the rich condition and will probably be corrected when the engine is repaired. You can't chase a rich condition when you have a poor running engine.
