SOURCE: cruise control problem

This tranny is programable by the dealer. It takes a little while but they can reset the shift patterns. They did it to my 2009 Sonata.

My 2014 Beetle keeps going dead and dealership can't find the problem. I've had it in 4 times in 2 ears, besides having it jumped. This time it won't take a jump.

Are you sure its a Volkswagen dealership? Their techs should have all the latest test gear to find out what is wrong. Are you using the original key?

My van keeps jumping out of gear what is the problem

most likely a manual gear box is it
jumping out of gear indicates the the gear is
not properly engaged --adjust linkages
check gear lever for obstructions in mounted on the tunnel
loose /incorrectly tensionedd bell housing bolts
failed rear engine mounts
drive line vibrations
or possible badly worn gear teeth
jumping out of gear is when the mating gears are not exactly in line and the slight angle makes one gear walk out of mesh with the other.

What happens when ur car jumps timing and what causes it?

A car with a timing belt will jump time for several reasons, the belt dries out and the teeth strip off the belt, the tensioner or guide wear and fail, the belt can stretch over the years causing it to jump the sprockets. A car with a timing chain can jump because many were made with cam gears that had plastic teeth and they wore out, or the gear was made out of a casting that wore out, or the chain stretched replacement cam gears were usually made out of steel. 1st and 5th gear jumps out of it's position. Revers gear do's not engage gear from time to time

if this is a manual gearbox then its the indent springs in the selector rod movement inside the gearbox and this will involve removing the gearbox if i have correctly located the fault ,but without the make and model of vehicle i cannot say for certain as it could be the gearchange mechanism movement inside the cars cab and if tis cable then a outer sheaf on a cable could be loose and come out of its crimped holder

Fan motor on a 2000 Chevy Malibu only works on 3-5 and not on 1 & 2. How to fix?

Its the blower motor resistors or the switch itself.
You need shop manual. Then remove the switch and jump certain terminals with a jumper wire to see if fan runs at certain speeds. If fan runs at all speeds when jumped then the switch is your problem . if it runs at the speeds you described in your write up then its the resistors.

Dose 80/70 psi [compression] mean the timing has jump

Certainly not good compression, and it could very well be timing jumped, especially if all cylinders are that low. If more questions please reply with engine size, and mileage please. Some engines allow you to confirm by removing top cover only.
