Why are two spark plugs not firing?

This is likely a waste fire ignition system where one coil is firing two plugs. This is a less expensive system for the OEMs and is used in many models. I would swap the coil with another to assure that it is the coil and not the Spark Control Module.

If problem moves with the coil replace the coil.

Misfire cyl 3 replaced plugs swapped coil and inj comp 175 across the board

check for a crack or carbon track in the distributor cap for no 3 plug lead
It could be a wiring or harness connection for no 3 injector or a problem ECM control for no 3 injector ( check for moisture in the connections and or bad pin conditions

#1 cylinder not firing on 22re

replace plug and COP if equipped. Replace spark plug wire if equipped. If it has a distributor and rotor inspect both. if possible swap spark plug wires on plug closest to #1 to see if problem moves. New plug is a must have.

No fire to number one coil

before you go for the worst position, get first the spark plug out and check if it is burnt. Have you changed spark plugs before? Second If the spark plug is ok,then do a compression test,to see whether you do have any problem with either an inlet or exhaust valve. The other thing is since you swap coil, have you checked whether the faulty coil works or not on the other spark plug? if it is working and the good coil on the faulty cylinder does work then the fault is either on the coil side,or the wiring from the ECU to the coil is either broken, cracked,or shorted. The last thing you do then is the ECU.

-You mean hook up the plug wire to the wrong spark plug...?
-If so. Check for firing order. Then swap the right one to its plug.

Replaced the CDI unit, new spark plugs, but still one spark plugs will not function, only the three spark plugs is running. why?

Mark the one not firing. Now swap it out with one that fire. Does it fire now. If No then you will need a new CDI.If it doesnt then you have a wire issue. also check spark plug wires.

The #1 spark plug not firing, what can the problem be

If it's only the one spark plug not firing, try replacing the high voltage ignition wire (or swapping it with another one just for a test). It could also be a broken spark plug, or a failed (fouled) spark plug. It could also be a bad distributor cap.

No spark number 6 cylinder v-8

does not fire where? at the plug? have u checked the wire, cap..hmmm..77 ..how many miles on that motor? have u done a compression check? could be burned valve, fouled plug bad wire worn cap and or rotor ..check the obvious first. start at the plug..if it's not firing, swap it for a known good one.. if it doesn't fire, swap the wire, if it still doesn't fire swap cap and rotor..if that doesn't solve or identify where the bad component is.or if you find you have fire at the plug but still misses on the cylinder.... start looking inside.. run compression check... if it's low squirt oil in cylindeer and check again.. if it comes up drastically.. it's worn rings..but if it stays low probably worn valves. but i'm thinking its somewhere between the distributer and the plug.. good luck...
