Sorry but our detailed info doesn't go back to this old of a car. But this what I know from experiences in my early career. If it has a carburetor I suggest you tune up the engine and rebuild the carburetor as it is likely the cause. This all assumes the engine runs smoothly and is not misfiring. Also check engine compression on all cylinders, they should be no more than 5% difference fro the highest pressure reading to the lowest.

SOURCE: Datsun stanza 1980 tappets (lifters)

This car has hydraulic lifters( tappets} therefore should not adjustment, you probably have a bad or weak lifter. But, in any case you have to remove the valve covers to make the adjustment. You will see the adjustable bolt on the rocker arm. rotate the engine until the valve is all the way to the top, [no tension on the valve spring] then place a feeler Gage in between the rocker arm and the valve stem, adjust the rocker arm until the feeler Gage is snug but not tight. Do this with each valve. Check the book for the correct Gage to use but I think it is a .018.

I have a 1980 datsun 1200 ldv have replaced the master cylinder Bled all 4 wheels.Pedal stays low +_ 10 mm from floorboard Do not find air in the system had adjusted all 4 wheels brakes thanks

Did you properly bench bleed the master cylinder itself before installing? It must be bled or there will be air trapped inside the master cylinder itself that no amount of wheel bleeding will remove.
