SOURCE: Where is the oil pressure sensor on a 2001

The oil pressure sensor is between the exhaust manifold and oil filter. You can get to it better from the bottom by removing the oil filter to give you more room and it should take you under 30 min to replace oil filter and all. I guess if you have long thin arms you can get to it from the top too. Good luck and hope this helps.

SOURCE: Leaking antifreeze

Check your hoses entering your block and radiator. you may need to bring your vehicle into a garage and ask for a "Pressure Test" this will indicate if you have a crack or leak.
Good Luck.

Hey Juan I have a 2001 oldsmobile aurora and the engine is jumping on it when it warms up what do you think could be the problem

Always start with reading the codes, that should give you an idea. (ie. what cylinders are misfiring). Also think about maitenace, have you replaced the intake gasket? Take in consideration that even a small air leak on your intake system could cause these problems and most of the times they can be fixed with very little money. Inspect the engine for loose air hoses. Also make observations (is it consumming antifreeze? Is oil level normal? Is the temperature within range?) All those things can give you a clue. I absolutely would not think about coil packs until more information is collected. Let me know your findings, Ill be more than glad to help!

Why do I smell Antifreeze in my exhaust?

Head gaskets are quite common to fail on Auroras. If it leaks internally, coolant burns and causes a smell to exit through the exhaust.

Replacement of ignition coil

Its very possible that the oil caused the ignition coil to fail,I would suggest that you repair the valve cover leak.

You say 2pts of oil per 500 miles well ...
First can you see blue smoke out of the side mirrors if yes ,then you have either Worn or broken piston rings/Valve seals worn and leaking/Breather valve on engine faulty/Dirty air cleaner/or a oil seal or gasket leaking ,,,and if so that also is caused to broken rings
Let me know how you get on Ron

Where is the oil pump located on the 2001 oldsmobile aurora and can repair it easy

it should be in the oil pan. Drain the oil, remove the bolts, remove the pump, and when re-installing get a new pan gasket or it will leak.

Where does a oil plug go on a 2001 aurora

Pan is towards the back of the engine underneath. If you cant find the correct spot pour some oil in and find the leak this is where the plug should go.
