1995 ford taurus will not start at times and later starts fine

I will start car, go to work, at lunch will not start. By end of day will start. Then next day, same thing. Took it into the shop, but of course the car is running and the time and they can't seem to find a problem. Drove home and went back out 30 minutes later and car would not start. Had oxygen sensor replaced, fuel filter replaced, checked battery, all fluds, nothing is working.

Sounds like the Fuel Pump, which is located in the Gas Tank, ahead of the rear wheels, basically under the rear door. The gas tank itself is not hard to remove, and you could get a kit available online. It's probably easier to do if you have ramps and back the rear wheels onto those two ramps, you can't do it as easily by just jacking up the car. If you have two hydraulic jacks, that might work as well.

If you buy the part, you want to bring it to a gas station to remove the gas tank, they should be able to do all the work for you in about one hour.

1995 Ford Taurus not starting. Sometimes it starts and sometimes the starter won't turn over not even a click. Wait half an hour and it may work fine. Starter less than a year old as is the battery

Even though new-ish, I'd still suspect the battery has no charge, ask a friend to give you a jump start. Then give your car a good run, 20 miles, if is doesn't work again the next day either the battery fails to keep its charge or the alternater isn't charging it. A good garage will be able to test either for you, you'll need to change the failing part.

A few days ago, I turned my car, a 1995 Ford Taurus, on and everything was working fine and then it was almost as if the car had stalled, but it was still driving. The radio turned off, the power steering...

BY WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU MIGHT HAVE A BELT ISSUE, WHAT I WOULD IS OPEN THE HOOD AND LOOK DOWN AND SEE IF THE BELT IS STILL THERE, IF IT IS GRAB IT AND PULL ON IT MAKE SURE IT ISN'T TO LOOSE. IF ALL IS GOOD THERE I WOULD GET THE ALTANATOR CHECKED OUT SOULD BE PUTTING OUT 14.6 VOLTS WHEN RUNNING. TRY THAT HOPE IT HELPS YOU.

1996 Ford Taurus has been having problems starting up

Get a new battery - I did and it works OK.
Make sure it is the high output type as used in Jeeps etc. Check spec book for it in shop.

Car was running the day before. Next morning, got

Try having one person turn the key to the start position and hold it there, while someone else taps on the starter with a hammer. If tapping on it makes it work, you need a starter. Good luck. Hope this helps.
